Hello fellow book nerds!
So I have been working very hard on this post so I’m like a proud mom for this post. For a very long time now I’ve been wanting to do a bookshelf tour but I just didn’t know how. And then a awesome sauce girl by the name of Claire gave me the brilliant idea of using GIF’s to show my bookshelf! *claps because of this amazing suggestion* Well here it is my bookshelf tour! Now I get all of my bookshelves, tables, desks, at Ikea. Just so you all know 😉
So I have exactly three “bookshelves” in my room and the first one is a actual bookshelf…
SO here starts the bookshelf tour.
First.. on the bottom shelf
I don’t really have a organization method when it comes to my books. But I do like to kinda order it by size so here is my actual bottom shelf. Those books on top were the books that I put on top of my shelf.
Mostly have trilogies on this shelf.
Then we have the second shelf which is my paranormal/dystopian shelf and my fantasy shelf. Who am I kidding? I really don’t know how I organize this shelf.
Are captions really necessary? *laughing face emoji since I’m on the computer*
Now as you can see The Mara Dyer trilogy is on this shelf. Which by the way 😉 😉 😉 If you haven’t read it yet you absolutely NEED t read it. Its one of my all time favorite series, and I just loveeeeee.
Now I finally have a “theme” for this bookshelf.
My Cassandra Clare collection….and An Ember in the Ashes. Sorry I’m not THAT organized!
Last shelf! Last shelf! In the first bookshelf..This shelf is my favorite shelf. Because this is where I keep all of my cutesy contemporaries, my apocalypse, and of course my Rick Yancey collection.
This shelf is divided into two. My contemporaries on top and the rest on the bottom. I’m going to start of with the bottom shelf in this bookshelf tour.
The start of my Rick Yancey collection! And the most BEAUTIFUL ARC that I have ever had! Illuminae!
PART 2 OF THE SECOND BOOKSHELF
My contemporaries! My favorite being Fangirl and Since You Been Gone!
Okay last one I promise on this bookshelf. Now we have come to the second part of my Rick Yancey collection. The top of the bookshelf!
AND THAT COMPLETES THE FIRST BOOKSHELF!
We have come to the second part of this bookshelf. The nightstand. This “bookshelf” was originally used as a nightstand and I transformed it to the bookshelf it is today! Now when it comes to this bookshelf I have no method whatsoever in organizing. I just use it to fit all my paperbacks and maybe two of my hardcovers.
Starting of with the first stack of books…
WE have come a long way but we finally got to the last “bookshelf” My table. Yes my table. I keep books on top of my table. I felt like there was no need to make GIFs for this part of the post.
I mostly keep my ARCS and my paperbacks here on the table and above are mostly my ARC’s so enjoy the view 🙂
Here I keep mostly my Portuguese books and few more of my ARCs which for some reason I know I’m not going to read sadly enough.
Then we have my pastel collection which I feel is my favorite part of the desk. All of these are ARCs except for the Scarlet Letter on the top.
Then we come to my favorites. We have the AMAZING Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout. We have the Percy Jackson series. The Accident Season and The Raven Boys. Pretty Baby and Outlander I still have not yet read.
And that is all for my bookshelf tour…or is it?
I might I have skipped a part of my bookshelf. The cutest part of my bookshelf.
The perks of living in the same state as The Wizarding World of Harry Potter 😉
I really hoped you enjoyed this tour. Its been a long while since I started writing and I worked really hard on making this post exactly how it is!
