It’s that time of year again, ladies and gents. It is time for one of my favorite parts of the year, which is Miami Book Fair. And yes, I know not all you live in Miami or anywhere near it but there is still a lot of things you can get out of it, my friends. Now “Gabi, why are you so excited for this book fair when there’s millions of conventions to go to?”. Well new reader, I live in a city where reading is practically extinct. The closet bookstore in my vicinity is about forty minutes away, and the Miami Book Fair is the only time of the year where I can buy LOADS of books, see my favorite authors, and squeal, all in the comfort of my own city. Yet, the best part about the Miami Book Fair is the people that organize it, are literally the most genuinely kind people in the world.
Why you may ask?
Well I get to do interviews with some of the Young Adult are going, explore the behind the scenes of the book fair, and most importantly…create a giveaway for all of you! That’s what I mean when I say that the Reading In The Rain readers that live in Oregon or something can get something out of it (other than the interviews, reviews, and rants that are going to be bombarded on the blog)
ANOTHER THING FOR ALL OF YOU WHO DO NOT LIVE IN MIAMI!! I will be hosting a Twitter chat every other Friday starting October 13th, and I will be hosting it along with authors that are going to the Miami Book Fair! So spread the word, because I definitely am!
Now for those of my readers WHO DO live in Miami and WHO DO want to go to the book fair, then you get to see first hand which YA authors are going!
Once a week (most likely on Fridays) you will see THREE YA AUTHORS THAT ARE GOING! I’m going to announce them in no particular order (except for the third one I announce today…I’m so freaking excited for that one)
Now without further adooooooo, here are THREE AUTHORS THAT ARE GOING TO THE MIAMI BOOK FAIR!
