I WANT TO INTRODUCE YOU TO THE TWO LOVELY MAGICAL LADIES THAT ARE MY NEW CO-BLOGGERS!
BROOKE AND ADALYN!
Hi Everyone! I’m Brooke and I’m excited to be one of the 2 new co-bloggers of this site now, and I’m really looking forward to everything that is to come!
So just a little bit about me. My name is Brooke Evans, and I’m a high school student in Texas. I started blogging myself about a year and a half ago when I created my own blog, The Cozy Little Book Nook. Because of school work, and other things going on in my life, I simply don’t have time to keep running the blog full time as I would like to, and I’m so happy that Gabi brought me on as a co-blogger!
My all time favorite genre to read (and that I read almost exclusively now) is YA Contemporary Romances. Yes, I know this is a very specific genre, but I absolutely love romances that almost always end in happily ever after. I had a phase about 2 years ago where all the book I read were Cinderella retellings, and that lead me to the wonderful world of young adult novels. A few of my favorite books include “My Unscripted Life” by Lauren Morrill, “One Paris Summer” by Denise Grover Swank, “Summer of Sloane” by Erin L. Schneider, “The Selection” by Kiera Cass, “The Way the Game The Walk of Shame” by Jenn P. Nguyen and many more. 🙂 My favorite authors include Sarah Dessen, Lauren Morrill, Erin Fletcher, Julie Hammerle, Huntley Fitzpatrick, Kiera Cass, and many, many more. Honestly, if it’s a YA contemporary romance book, I can almost say with absolute certainty that I will probably love it. But I don’t just restrain myself to that genre. I’m always open to read any YA, adult, and Middle Grade.
Let’s see, what else do you probably want to know about me? I play the piano and the flute, I do archery, and I like to sleep and eat 🙂 In my very limited free time, I like to write and I’ve actually been working on a couple of different projects for Camp Nanowrimo that all currently unfinished.
The thing I’m most excited about to be blogging here, is the new people that I’m going to get the chance to meet, and the chance to talk and learn about new books that y’all like. If there’s anything else you guys want to know about me, just find me on Twitter @BrookeEvans2001 (That’s where I’m most responsive these days). And now that you know some things about me, I have a question for you guys: what’s your all time favorite book?
Hello, everyone! My name’s Adalyn and I am so excited to be a co-blogger here! I cannot wait to share new posts on here.
Like I said, my name is Adalyn and I am also a high school student. I love reading, writing, cats, dance, fashion, history, and musicals, which is a lot. I am a very loyal Ravenclaw as well. Just over a year ago I got inspired to start my own blog, and a few days later, I setup my blog, GlitteringReads. Before blogging, I had already book on bookstagram for a year at that point. As of just the other day, I now have a twitter as well.
I actually started my very first blog when I was either eight, nine, or ten. It’s been a long time passion of mine, though it took me a while to really find out what I was most passionate of to start a blog about. I soon started discovering the book blogging community, and viola, I had started my own! And now I’m here co-blogging as well.
My favorite books are, without a doubt, Six of Crows, Salt to the Sea, and A Darker Shade of Magic! Harry Potter is of course a favorite as well, and so is just about anything Sarah J Maas has written. But seriously, do not get me going on one of my favorite books or else you’re in for it. I could go on and on about all of my favorites for hours. I’m not even kidding. With the plot, characters, and setting alongside everything the fandom has come up with, there really is no way you can stop me. Fantasy is my favorite genre, but historical fiction is a close second, so it makes sense that my top favorites fit into either one of those categories. While I enjoy contemporaries and sci-fis/dystopians, there is something so special about both fantasy and historical fiction to me. For started, when you read fantasy, you are transported to an entirely different world with so much potential and with the historical fiction, you are transported back in time. I love history, so there is nothing I love more than finding a good, historically accurate historical book
I am excited for just about everything as a co-blogger here honestly. I cannot wait to share new posts and interact with you all and make lots of new friends as well. And of course, people to fangirl with (like I said, I could go on for hours about my favorite books/fandoms). As cheesy as this sounds, I cannot wait to see what the future holds in store! 😉
