So I was challenged by Leesa on how I have a perfect day/night in! What are my ‘staying in essentials’? What books would I read? How many blankets are I be cuddled up under?
So the perfect night for me would be raining. Yes raining. I love rain. Explains my blog name 😉 It would be really cold inside my house, and nobody would be home. Or at least not in my room. I would have my favorite candle London Tea and Lemon burning, and I would be on my bed. I have this blanket I got last year in New York at the M&M store and I SWEAR that it is the tiniest blanket you can ever have but it warms you up like no other.
Eating in my bed is a big no no so I would just order pizza and watched Hairspray while eating my delicious stuffed crust sausage pizza. After I would get in my bed, close all the curtains, turn on my reading light, and start reading The Mara Dyer Series. And I KNOW FOR A FACT that if I do not sleep that night I would probably be able to finish the first two books completely. Mara Dyer to me is the perfect ‘saying in’ book and I think it would be my…5th time rereading that wonderful amazing book.
Of course I have to have my ice cream. You scream. I scream. We all scream for ice cream. HAHAH (i’m so sorry) and there is this place right next to my house that sells ice cream that was made out of nitrogen. My usual order is cake batter ice cream with brownies and berries, and I wouldn’t have to get up to get it. If this were my perfect night it would magically appear in my hands. Playlists for this night would be anything and everything Broadway. Most likely Rent or Evita 🙂
Some advice to make this the perfect night. 1. Turn off all electronics (unless you’re watching a movie). You don’t need to be bombarded with all these notifications from social media when you are trying to relax. 2. Make sure you get all your work done the day before. So you don’t have to think about all the stuff you have to do the next morning. 3. Take a nice relaxing bath/shower with the heat turned all the way up before starting your perfect night. Gives you a head start 😉
Thank you Leesa for challenging me to do this and now I challenge all of you to describe YOUR perfect night/day in, and then make it happen! Your might be different that mine and I want to read it! So do it!
Don’t forget to check out Leesa’s awesome mattresses who gave me the idea for the brilliant posts 🙂
A thousand pillows surrounding me. My M&M blanket. Tea Candle. Mara Dyer. Rain in the background. Broadway music. Stuffed Crust Pizza. Hairspray. Ice cream.
Can this BE any more perfect?
