Hello! Deanna here. Today I will be doing the GOSSIP GIRL BOOK TAG, which I was tagged for by my dear friend Wesaun @ Oreos & Books! Go check her blog out. She’s amazing. On with the tag!
SERENA VAN DER WOODSON
The “it” book of YA fiction.
Although this book may not be the most popular right now in the YA community, it is very popular among teenagers that aren’t huge readers. It’s the book that people who aren’t knowledgeable about YA think of when they hear “teen fiction”. Also, like Serena Van Der Woodson, it’s the book that a lot of books are marketed for “fans of”.
A book/character you love to hate.
Oh boy do I love to hate the Commandant. She is so evil and violent! I’m supposed to hate her because she does horrible things to all of the main characters, but I
LOVE her. I’m so curious about her life. I WANT A PREQUEL FEATURING THE COMMANDANT.
A roller coaster ride of a book.
This book truly is a roller coaster! I went from laughing to crying to crying tears of joy to shaking with fear! Also, the plot itself is a roller coaster ride. An upside-down, super fast roller coaster ride.
A book cover eye candy.
This will always be my favorite book cover. IT’S JUST SO PRETTY. I mean, THAT DRESS? And the physical cover is textured (the flowers are silvery) which I LOVE.
A book you think deserves more love than it gets.
This is one of my favorite books of all time! Sarah Dessen is a very popular author, but this book is often overlooked because of it’s touchy subject matter. However, I think it is her most poignant and emotional book!
A character that went through the most drastic transformation, for better or for worse.
Juliette’s change in the Shatter Me series was definitely for the better! She learned to accept herself and harness her strengths in a positive and beneficial way!
A book that doesn’t have a lasting impression.
This book was just “eh” for me. I didn’t love it, but I didn’t hate it either. It was just ok.
RUFUS AND LILY
An OTP that could’ve been.
A villain who’s killing it with villainy.
A favorite sidekick character.
DELILAH (DEE) MONTGOMERY
Reagan’s awesome, country music star best friend totally deserves her own book.
A book you always mistake for something else.
I just don’t do this!
A Prince-Charming-turned-A-plus-jerk character.
That’s it! Thanks for reading! I tag:
