Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted at The Broke & The Bookish.
So today we’re talking about my Top 10 authors that I read from. When I looked on my Goodreads I wasn’t very surprised. I was actually kinda expecting these authors to go on my list.
First we have the AMAZING Cassandra Clare. Who wrote two of some of my favorite series’ in the world. The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices And who also came up with the genius brilliant idea of William Herondale.
Oh Uncle Rick. The person who came up with the spectacularness and the sassiness of Percy Jackson. The person who’s writing got me into the reading world. Whose ultimate ship was my first actual OTP. *whispers* Percabeth for life!!
Jennifer L. Armentrout
Now its no surprise that THE QUEEN JLA is one this list. I think that this year she was my most read author. All her books I FREAKING LOVE. All her characters make me want to hug them all and hand them Oreo cookies. And her aliens and demons are just SO hot 🙂
Now Ms. Laury Falter was one of the authors that I’ve read before I became this huge book worm. And I love her for that. I’ve only read two of her series’ but both of them I absolutely love. There is the Fallen Trilogy and then there is the Residue Quartet. Which are some of the cheesiest yet loveable stories you can read <3
Now I wasn’t a huge fan of her Delirium series but the two standalones that I’ve read from..were AMAZING. Panic and Before I Fall were great reads. Before I Fall being my favorite 😉 I think that her characters annoy me at times and that is why I downgrade the scale of the book for me.
Then there is The Summer I Turn Pretty Trilogy which I’ve read all in one week. Now here’s the thing..I liked the first one, then the second one “eh”, then the third one came along and I was so close to DFN’ing this book. Then there is To All The Boys I Loved Before which I really liked!!
Well you see after I read The Giver I decided to read all her other books. Not a real big fan…not because they weren’t great books but I just wished they all ended on a another note or at least make it into a series. I both am intrigued and annoyed by this concept. Props to you Lois! Props!
I LOVED her Poseidon trilogy. I love love love love love love. It’s been awhile since I’ve read a mermaid book and this trilogy was absolutely fantastic! Then I read her Joyride book and I also really really liked it. *claps* I really want to meet your characters and hug the life out of them 🙂
Isn’t it obvious. DIVERGENT TRILOGY IS OUT OF THIS WORLD AND I JUTS LOVEEEEE!
Again…isn’t it obvious.
