Hola fellow book nerds! So I’ve been getting really into the GIF posts, so…here’s another GIF post. Featuring one of my favorite musicals of all time Mamma Mia. For the month of July I’ve read a total of.. 22 books..I had a lot of free time during the month of July. So some of these I actually already reviewed here on the blog some I’m only going to talk about the books that I haven’t yet reviewed..because there’s a lot of them.
1. Anna and the French Kiss and Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins
I love it! I love it! I love it! Anna is my favorite so far because..Etienne. But Lola was also amazing! Anna and Etienne together are just <3 and Lola and Cricket are also very <3
Still need to read Isla but after I am doing with the bazillion books that I already have on my bookshelf I am definitely going to pick it up! 5 stars and I fangirled all the way!
2. Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi
This ship has been added to my top 10 favorite OTP’s. Ari and Perry are just the cutest couple ever! Not ever but in the top 10 ever’s! Plus the whole story itself and the concept of the dystopian was just so wonderful. Currently working myself out through the second book and so far I’m like..
3. The Dark Elements Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Yes I know I already made a review for the first book and I’m kinda cheating..but IT WAS SO FREAKING AMAZING! I love all three of the books, and I just don’t know how Jennifer does it. Every single book that I read from her I end up loving. Oh and Roth..
And this GIF is for every single one of the guys on my fictional boyfriend list 😉
4. The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater
I loved and I loved this book. I’ve heard from so may bloggers and other book nerds that this book was truly amazing and I just HAD to read it, so what did I di? I bought and I read it. And I loveddd it! I really wish there was another books but sadly its only a standalone but *claps* well done Maggie. Well done.
5. The Summer I Turned Pretty Trilogy by Jenny Han
I was a little iffy with this trilogy. I really liked the first book, even though there were a few parts that annoyed me. Then I read the second book and I was a little “eh” I liked it, but there were more annoying parts then really good parts for me. Then the third book came along..
Not a fan. I was really close to DFN’ing the third book but I just needed to know what happened. I thought the characters were just being plain annoying. Belly was being a little to forgiving, and Jeremiah was being a little not Jeremiah. Conrad always had a little space in my heart but dude you made a lot of mistakes and you know the whole drama could’ve just ended in the second book if you just admitted your feeling to Belly!
6. Joyride by Anna Banks
Very solid 4 star contemporary. I was really excited to read this book since I loved Anna’s other books. I loved the whole story of the book but for some reaosn I didn’t love it as much as I thught I would. OS its kinda my fault for puting my expectations really high on the ladder. Don’t get me wrong the characters and the story were still pretty amazing just not as amazing as I thought it would be.
7. The Scorpio Rules by Erin Bow
I was mostly confused throughout the entire book, but it was a good kind of confused. It actually made me think during the reading of the book.
I mean it was good and it was confused. Whatever, don’t judge me!
8. Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon
I am going to make this more brief than usual become I’m planning a review for this book because it was just so amazing! So without further ado here is my GIF of choice.
9. Between the Lines by Jodi Picoult and Samantha Van Leer
Just amazing. The concept. The story. The characters. All of it. Just amazing. And I really wish this could happen to me!!!
10. The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black
Last book for this post *sad tear emoji* This was my first actually Holly Black book that I have ever read, and it was pretty amazing. It been such a long time since I read a good vampire book, and this one was really good. I loved the whole story and the history behind the vampires. Plus Gavriel is amazing!
That’s all folks! And I love doing these GIF reviews. Let me know if I should do more reviews like this!
