Hello fellow book nerds!
As you all know I have been blogging for almost a year now. (Blogiversary in November!) But one of the things you might not know is that I wasn’t a full on bookworm before my blog even started. I loved to read, but it was one of those things that I read a book a week, instead of three. I didn’t even know what a fandom was! There was still a lot of books that I fangirled over but *sigh* I didn’t know how to explain how much I loved it. Anyway I feel like I didn’t appreciate those books that I read before as much as I do now. For example last week I did a “TBT Review” of Obsidian which was one of the books that I read and LOVED a little before I started this whole blog. And I feel like I should do this more often. Since I want to thank the authors and the people who pushed me into reading al these books that makes me what I am today. So I’m starting this thing called TBT Reviews. At least once a week (I’m thinking Thursday) I am going to make a review of a book/series that I read before my blog, and this book/series would be one of the books that pushed me into getting my own blog. This TBT Review might not be much but it’s a way of saying “thank you.” And for all the bloggers out there who are reading this post right now. You are probably doing this already, you probably already made your “thank you’s” but I would love it if you can join in on the fun. Not only would you be saying thank you, but you may actually push someone else who is not a full on bookworm just yet to be a part of this amazing community. Because to be honest, I don’t know where I would be right now if it wasn’t for my love of books. Yes I’ll probably still be spending 12 hours a day on the computer, but I wouldn’t be as social as I am today. True I’m not a social kind a person now, but I’m better than I was year ago. This love of books got me into the blogging world. And the blogging world is one of the best worlds you can be a part of! You meet so many people and see so many new thing. So join in…maybe one of you book nerds friends out there might actually start a blog of their own.
