Helloooo, for the month of January I have read a total of nine books. I can’t do reviews for every book that I read so I thought that at the end of each month I would do a little overview of all the books that I have read that month.
1. Confessions of a Hater Rate: 4/10 I did not enjoy reading this book. All the characters were very dull especially the main one and that took away most of the enjoyment I could’ve had for this book but never did. The story behind it wasn’t too bad, but it didn’t make the book any better. I think the main reason I didn’t like the book was because of the main characters. She tried to create drama and she was really idiotic at times. I have to say I am not the biggest fan of this book.
2. Something Real
Rate: 9/10 SUCH A GOOD BOOK! It was a fantastic read. It’s a contemporary that does go into serious topics but it truly was amazing. I loved all the characters (minus the mom) and I definitely recommend this for readers who love contemporaries. *review to come*
Rate: 7/10 I absolutely love Jennifer l. Armentrout. You guys already know that. So I decided to start her Covenant series in hopes for me to love it. Its not the same as Obsidian and Don’t Look Back but it was a great book. I think the main reason I didn’t love it like her other books is because of the ships. Everybody ships Alex and Aiden, and I’m here like SETH!!! My ship is Seth and Alex not Alex and Aiden. I just….just want her to be with Seth is that too much to ask.
4. Reboot Rate: 6/10 It was okay. Not one of the best dystopians ever but it was a good read. I liked the first book and there is a second book but I don’t know when I’m going to get to it. It’s on my TBR list but on the way bottom. I have to say though, I do like this ship that is sailing in this book. Wren and Calum are perfect for each other. This dynamic dual really made me like this book even more.
(The rest of the books that I read this month I already have reviews on so you can check them out.)
